FOOD IS LOVE

After realizing the need to feed in our community, the Food Is Love ministry was birthed in the Fall of 2021. Currently cooking every other Monday, with distributions following on Wednesday, the group of volunteers and staff prepare nutritious meals for those in need in our community. We are honored to announce that since its inception in Fall 2021, together with our community partners, Love Thy Neighbor FL Inc, Panera Bread and Wawa, we have been able to provide families in need an excess of 8,500 meals!

 

We are in need of the following items: Pasta, white rice, yellow rice, instant potatoes, canned beans, bbq sauce, Manwich sauce, cake mixes, flour, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, olive oil.  A great way to donate is to check out the BOGO offerings from Publix! Most of our most used items can be found there! Monetary contributions are always appreciated.
